Privacy Policy

Developer Toolbox · Last updated: August 24, 2026

Developer Toolbox ("the Extension") is a browser utility for developers. This policy explains what information the Extension can access, how that information is used, and what we do not do with your data.

Summary

Information the Extension may access

The Extension only accesses data when you actively open a tool or use a feature such as the toolbar button, side panel, context menu, or keyboard shortcut.

Information we do not collect

How data is used

Any data accessed by the Extension is used only to provide its developer utility features on your device. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to the Extension's functionality.

Data sharing and transfers

We do not sell, rent, transfer, or disclose user data to third parties. The Extension does not send page content or network data to external servers operated by us or by analytics providers.

Data retention

Most processing happens in memory while you use a tool. Small local session values may be stored in browser extension storage until cleared by the browser or extension update. We do not maintain remote user profiles or cloud backups of your browsing data.

Permissions

The Extension requests browser permissions only to provide its features, including:

Restricted pages

The Extension cannot inspect restricted browser pages such as Chrome internal pages. When a page cannot be accessed, the Extension displays a clear message instead of attempting unsupported access.

Children's privacy

The Extension is intended for developers and technical users. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
